Limp Mode in 2023 Nissan Versa Manual Transmission;

I purchased my 2023 Nissan Versa in February of 2023. It was delivered in August 2023, which I was well aware there was going to be a wait.
In October, 2023, after about 800km's on the car, I noticed it did not have enough power to go up a hill.

I parked the car to the side of the road, turned it off, back on, and it worked fine.
Similar experience in November, 2023. Called the dealership, had the car taken in for inspection at about 1400km. They were unable to determine the issue. Was uncomfortable driving the car as it seemed to sporadic.
Happened again in December, 2023.

Took the car in to the dealership while it happened. They ran it through a battery of tests, including getting Techline and a Tech Advisor out to look at the car. Said that it goes into "Limp Mode" due to low RPM, this happens from user error, and returned the vehicle, after having it for nearly 2 months (December 26th - February 16th). During this time they replaces a variety of modules in the car, as well as changing the ECM.

Assured me it would never happen again.
Fast forward to 1 week later, and the car again goes into Limp Mode. Read through the manual, and there is no mention of "Limp Mode" in the entire manual. They won't tell me if there's a technical term for it, and the customer service has gone from great when I got the car to zero now.
I've complained that the car is not safe to drive, as when limp mode activates, there is no warning or dash light or anything to indicate that there's an error with the car, until you press the gas, and it get's no power. The car doesn't produce enough power in limp mode to get up a simple hill.
Customer service at Nissan.ca is hit and miss.

They can't / won't answer questions as they leave it up to the dealership to deal with. It's my opinion that this error is in how the car is manufactured, and has nothing to do with the dealership at all.

Shady business, shady people.
Arrogant, incompetent, unprofessional, incredible poor service and attitude. Circus run by idiots.
The car was taken into inspection, although it didn't meet the safety standards and for that reason was not roadworthy, as you'll see below why, was signed off as checked and safe by their lazy and incompetent mechanic contrary to road safety regulations.

Exrended warranty guaranteed price refund agreement

In 2018 I purchased a new Qashqai. Against my better judgement I purchased a platinum added security plan for $3000.

I bought the plan because for an extra $300 I purchased a guaranteed price refund agreement that states that if no claims were filed at the end of 60 months I would receive a refund of $1950. After 54 months the car was sold. As reqired by the agreement I waited until the 60 months was up and applied to the administrator for a refund. It was denied because the car was sold.

Oddly if the car had been wrecked, stolen, or reposessed I would have been eligble for a pro rated refund of about $1400. Neither the the administrator nor customer care can explain where in the agreement the sale of the car would void the agreement. It does state that if the extended warranty is transferred the refund is void. As of the end of the 60 month period the added security plan was still in my name.
So bottom line after 60 months there were zero claims.

I paid out $3500 Nissan paid out zero.
I loved that car.

Will I buy another Nissan? Not a chance.
