Last yr I bought a (supposed) demo Nissan kicks.

Turned out I was the second owner.

It has been in the shop constantly. Not with little issues either.

Alternator, air conditioning, sensors going off.

The dealership is willing to work with me.

Nissan Canada said their job is warranty work.

I want a car that works. I asked if they could just give me a vehicle that works or let me keep my zero interest on a new vehicle. Something.

Im told their responsibility is only to fulfill warranty. But what happens in a few yrs when the warranty is expired and my car keeps breaking down?

I asked if they were okay selling vehicles that dont work properly and who do I deal with to get this resolved and they said the dealership.

The dealership tells me they need assistance from Nissan Canada.

I am so disappointed with this company.

I was so excited about getting my kicks and now I am likely going to have to sue or go to media to get this resolved because Nissan Canada is a bloody joke. They will sell you a car that does not work and not set things right. So far this cost me my trade in which was 2 yrs away from being paid off and many many hrs going back and forth to the dealership trying to get things fixed or at least sorted. I cant drive far cause god knows when I will break down again.

Do not buy Nissan.

So not worth it. So much for decent customer service.

User's recommendation: Do not buy Nissan. Not worth it.

Monetary Loss: $12000.

Preferred solution: I would like a price reduction on my new model and I would like to keep my zero percent interest rate. I am at a loss at why I should have to come up with any money when I bought a new vehicle and it was a lemon, it should simply be replaced..

Nissan Canada Pros: At the moment i can think of any.

Nissan Canada Cons: Incompetent, Unwilling to listen, Poor communication.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta
